Joyce,
I am back too! And finding that each successive article you post seems to tap in at a deeper level for me.

In this particular article, I found it interesting that WHEN we believe deeply enough - the answers come to us in the most uncommon hour, from the least expected places. However, we must FIRST be in that place of deep belief before we can experience them! Seems a bit like that "chicken and egg" thing ... which comes first?

My intuition, however, tells me in this case the first thing simply must be that we believe, unconditionally, in order that we can be open and receptive to the answers which find their way to us.

Thank you for continuing to plant thoughts of greater thinking!

Joyce,

Thank you always for your inspiration to look at the positive things in life... even where there is sorrow, one can find moments of shared joy, courage, strength, and eventually... peace.

I miss my own mother - a times in a way I didn't know possible as an adult to be so impacted by what we would normally consider one of life's natural transitions. However, it is indeed those little moments you spend together that have relatively no significance to anyone else that leave you with pockets full of happy memoreis.

Thank you for reminding me!

Developmentally, we do love ourselves as babies. It is all about what we need, food, shelter, and most of all love. Then we are told to share everything and giving is what is important. While it is critical to healthy development to become giving human beings, we must remember to honor the precious life we have been given.

I often say, we need to "Restock Our Inner Shelves." I have a CD with that title along with a "Mini-mind Vacation exercise on it. There was a personal experience of feeling completely empty that inspired the story and how I found my way how to fill myself up when I was feeling so empty. I hope this gives you a glimpe into our evolving selves.

Isn't it interesting that we all have a greater capacity for loving others than ourselves...

What is THAT all about, Dr. Joyce?

Very cool article. Funny but I just wrote more in a chapter yesterday for a book due out next year about love. This chapter pretty vulnerable about learning to love myself which not natural even though I'm a motivational speaker.

Joyce,

If ever there was a message about finding joy in the purpose of our lives, this is indeed it! And, the thought that it sometimes brings others to point out our purpose, and the importance of the part we play in "life" is equally important... such as, your purpose in igniting joy in our lives with your wonderous stories!
